It has been three years to the day since I wrote this post [+].
And I've spent the last week thinking hard about why I don't step up and make formal complaints. I don't feel OK about not reporting what happened to my friend (over 40 years ago now).

It is Samhain...time to invite in all the ghosts, to listen to them, to honour them, to learn from them - and then, only when they have been heard, when they feel honoured, when they know that they have imparted wisdom, only then have they completed their work and feel able to leave...
Conclusions.
I thought of writing a victim statement - but this blog is it.
I seriously considered making a complaint to UKCP. I believe I have grounds to do so.
I will not do that.
I'm going to stick with, anyone who reads this account can make up their own minds....
And this is where my inner Eskil turns into David.
I will upload a bit of our conversation, in the full knowledge that someone might now recognise who Kit is.
This is a warning to all therapists, that if a client gets in touch and says that there is a problem and you reply with 'Never contact me again'!
It doesn't make the problem go away.
