No, I'm not going to sign in and read the message that has to be from 'his ethical body '. Truly it can't be from anyone else...

So, even a communication limited to reducing the complaint down to simply being that the therapist has not responded to my complaint, is almost too shaming somehow. 

I feel ashamed.

I keep getting waves of how mortified he would feel to receive a heads-up about a complaint. No matter that I'd advise anyone who didn't receive at least an acknowledgement of the issue, to make it official.

It is bloody hard to do.

Can't even open the email.

The form is filled in, and posted. The rules are, that you can only expect a therapist's ethical body to investigate a complaint about the things a therapist has done while they were (and still are) a member of that specific ethical body.  And the complaint must be made within three years. It has been longer than three years. And my complaint is, that the therapist has not responded to my victim statement. He was certainly a member of that ethical body before September this year. So, I think it is a legitimate complaint. The longer than three years would give them a way out... But not responding to my request for an apology is pretty serious. Silence looks like denial, and no one thinks that ghosting is a good way to communicate. But, as I have said previously, my mind is still weaving a 100 and 1 excuses for him, and I'm still feeling that I'm being unfair.  Meanwhile the sane part of me is pretty sure that most adults would understand why the therapist avoiding answering ...
